Night Angel Trilogy

I’ve been looking for a new book to jump into since I finished BRandon Sanderson’s MISTBOEN trilogy, and I’ve read some through a few different books, like Steven Erikson’s Malazan Book of the Fallenseries. I had a harder time getting into that than I thought I was going to. It doesn’t seem to flow to smoothly as I had hoped. I plan to continue the series, but at this point, it’s a push. It’s not what I’m really looking for in a book at the moment. I’m continuing a re-read through the Wheel of Time books, but it’s all review at this point, getting ready for the first of the final three books this November, A Gathering Storm. I did however, while rummaging through Amazon’s “similar people purchased” section under the Mistborn books, come across a book series that I was a little hesitant to try, mainly because it was a little more realistic as far as fantasy novels go. The Night Angel Trilogy is what it was. It’s an Assassin fantasy novel publiushed by OrbitFantasy, who I haven’t heard of up until this point. People seemed to like it, and reviews were all on the positive side, so I figured that I would give it a try. The book series is actually pretty good. It’s isn’t the most amazing thing I’ve ever read, but I have had trouble putting it down. I don’t find myself too attached to any of the characters yet, but the flow of the book is really good, and I want to keep reading to find out what happens next. I’m only about a third of the way through the first book, only because I bought it yesterday, but I should soon finish it here. I’m just surprised at how good it actually is. Really didn’t expect it.

Until Next Time!
